Aramid
Designed for heat, load, and long-term reliability
High-performance aramid yarns engineered for strength, stability, and extreme conditions
Aramid yarns: Performance under extreme conditions
Aramid, short for aromatic polyamide, is one of the most versatile materials within TP’s high-performance yarn portfolio. Aramid yarns are widely used in applications where strength, stiffness, thermal resistance, and long-term durability are essential.
Para-aramids in particular offer high linear strength, high modulus, low elongation, and excellent dimensional stability under load. Aramid performs reliably across a wide temperature range and does not melt, making it suitable for high-heat and safety-critical environments.
While aramids are sensitive to UV exposure and certain types of abrasion, these effects can be effectively mitigated through finishes, coatings, and engineered constructions. TP’s aramid yarns are available in natural and black, across a broad range of deniers, and can be converted, coated, or integrated into hybrid constructions.
What Sets Aramid Apart

Independent material advice for the right fit, always.
TP is not a fibre manufacturer, which means our advice is always independent. Aramid is selected and engineered based on functional requirements, not material preference.
Through technical consultation, co-development, and in-house testing, TP determines whether aramid is the optimal solution, or whether a hybrid or alternative material will deliver better performance. Our goal is always the same: the right yarn solution for your application, engineered for long-term reliability.
