Engineered reinforcement yarns

Yarns for fiber optic, power, and specialty cables

TP develops reinforcement yarn solutions for telecom cable applications where structural strength, dimensional stability, and long-term reliability are essential.

As a one-stop-shop in Europe, TP combines yarns, strength members and water-blocking systems designed to work together.

Thanks to our partnership with ITCO®, we are able to supply all components of a fiber optic cable.

The following are produced at our in-house manufacturing facility in Germany:

  • Binder yarns
  • TP CordX Ripcords
  • Water-blocking aramid and polyester yarns

Together with ITCO®, we also supply:

  • FRP strength members
  • Non-conductive water-blocking tapes
  • Filling compounds and gels
